This page contains additional resources to support you in practicing the various skills taught during the workshops.
Add some background text (either here or before self-compassion writing exercises) that for criticizer, criticized, etc & self-compassion letter, you will need something to write with (pen or pencil) and something to write on (piece of paper). Also, we have integrated pauses throughout the video. However, for the writing exercises in particular, we encourage them to pause the video where necessary if they need more time to write out their thoughts.
Mindfulness Exercises
This audio involves Dr. Annie Burke guiding a Self-Compassion Break, which was developed by Chris Germer, PhD. and Kristen Neff, PhD., the co-creators of the Mindful Self-Compassion Program. This exercise walks you through being kind to yourself during a stressful time.
